General Auction Questions

I’m already a kicker, where do I register to become a bidder?

Go to edit your profile (your kicker profile). At the top, you will have the option to select a checkbox to become a bidder. After you select this, be sure to click “update profile” in order to complete the changes and get your bidder number.

When will the auction end?

All auction items will end at the end on December 15th.

If I’m unable to pick up my winning item, will you ship it for a fee?

Please contact us about shipping BEFORE you place a bid.

Can I win if I’m not able to make it to the event on December 4th?

Yes. You can assign someone that will be at the event to pay and pick up the item for you. You will be able to pick up your item the week after the auction, at our Topsham facility at 610 Augusta Road, from 10am–5pm. If you’d like to pick your item up at South Portland please call (207) 729-7399 for special arrangements.

I’m getting an error that my email is already registered, how can I bid with the same email?

If you are already registered as a kicker, there is no need to fill out the registration form again. Simply login to your account and click on the checkbox to become a bidder. Don’t forget to click “update profile” in order to save your profile settings.

Bidding

How do I find items that I’ve bid on?

Visit your profile page to manage your bidding information, view items you have placed a bid on and change your password or other contact information.

I placed an incorrect bid by accident. Can I retract a bid, remove a bid or change a bid?

When placing a bid, you are entering a legally binding contract to complete the transaction if you are the winning bidder. However, bid errors should be reported to the auction website administrator for review. Please contact us as soon as you realize you’ve made the error.

Why did the bid increase when I placed my bid?

If your maximum bid exceeds the high bidders limit bid, the new high bid on the item will belong to you and the new high bid is the previous high bidders limit plus the minimum raise at that level.

For example: The current bid is at $10 and you place a maximum bid of $40. The current high bidder has a maximum bid of $30. Assuming the bid increment is $5, you will be the new high bidder at $35.
