2011 Exemplary Program Award!
Riverview’s Youth Horizons Program (YH) was awarded the 2011 Maine Exemplary Program Award for its collaborative work with the Brunswick 21st Century Community Learning Center. This is the second year that the Maine Afterschool Network has granted Riverview this honor, first in 2008 and now in 2011. YH offers academic achievement, technological advancement, cultural education, physical fitness and community service. Each class provides educational tools that help youth succeed in school, with peers and with parents. With over 20 years of experience teaching afterschool programs, Riverview is happy to continue helping Maine Kids!
